Rhoda
An airy fairy seeking inspiration for everyday life among clouds of fragrant smoke. She deals mainly with the folk magick of Slavic ancestors but sometimes also dives into the waters of occultism. She seeks inspiration for practice, mainly in historical sources. At Femme Occulte, Rhoda is chiefly responsible for typography and graphic design of the final version, which then gets to your home.
Belladonna
A vlogger and artist experiencing the mystery of motherhood. She has long approached witchcraft from the position of an eclectic hedge witch. She prefers to reflect on philosophy, metaphysics, psychology, cognitive religion, and the sacred in the wetlands. She always manifests her muses into the matter under the will of nature. For Femme Occulte, she illustrates, as well as draws mandalas and comics. She is the creatrix of Stromocculum.
Oleander
A storyteller who applies astrology in real life combined with psychology, self-development, and mythology. Cosmopolitan who feels at home among the stars. She contributes to Femme Occulte with chapters on astrological topics and thought pieces on heavenly bodies.
Papaver
Pilgrim seeking a glimpse of mystery both in magic and science, in the woods and temples, behind closed eyes and in books. A solitary student of kabbalah, a Wiccan with wings spread all over the world and a member of the Brotherhood of Wolves firmly rooted in her motherland. For Femme Occulte she writes about Kabbalah and translates seedlings’ chapters to and from the English. She is a teacher in Saga Studio.
Aconitum
An admirer of traditional craft that walks on ancient paths. She engages in witchcraft in its traditional form, in deep connection with nature, with its cycles: life and death. She is the creator of ritual products of the Old Path, with which she works in accordance with ancient powers and mysteries under the brand of Cottage Witch Apothecary.
Sideritis
An eternal student, seeking good, truth and beauty in the world and beyond. He believes the greatest spells are miracles hidden behind the veil of mundaneness. He is interested in history, especially antiquity, because he believes the elders knew more. After all, they were closer to the Beginning. His faith is philosophy, especially that Plato passed on who was the first to speak of ideas as the eternal prototypes of all things. He is a dreamer who believes the Truth hides in silence.
Ravensara
An adept of Faustian Hermeticism, floating between a library and a magical oratory. A lone rider with perseverance in his hands and a relentless desire in his blood, tirelessly searching for a spring that would quench his thirst for hermetic knowledge. In his research, he reveals transcendent ideas that are hidden among the lines of esoteric masters’ teachings. In Femme Occulte, he writes chapters on Hermeticism and matters connected to it.
Colchicum
A follower of the reconstructed Indo-European tradition with an undying love for professional and unarmed literature. A lover of ancient Greek witchcraft, Persian myths, and Slavic folk culture, who seeks a balance between irrational fascination and rational worldview, and believes that Sacred has never disappeared from the world.
Robinia
An apprentice calmly walking the path of knowledge, trying to combine her magical practice with the study of natural sciences as much as possible. A pagan building a distinctive belief system, seeking a connection to her own maternal lineage and especially to the Slavic tradition for which she is deeply passionate. She was drawn to magic by herbalism, which she continues to pursue in a more comprehensive way. She enjoys writing both prose and poetry.
Taxus
Traveller on new and old roads. As a child, she sensed magic intuitively, in fairy tales, stories, and in the nature around her. She became interested in ceremonial magick, Thelema, and Chaos magick at a young age. At the turn of the millennium, she published two issues of the underground magazine Ixaxaar, then collaborated with the publishing house Vodnář to publish chaos magick literature in the KIAton edition. Her current work focuses mainly on runes, Germanic magic, and Germanic paganism, and more recently on meditation techniques, psychotherapy, and inner work through the project psychoterapie.space.
Triticum
The son of Cerridwen, who, following the example of Gwion Bach, undergoes an inner
transformation on the border of worlds. His refuge is a mixed grove with a wise oak and a kind
birch. In his druidic practice, he draws on the wisdom of the bardic masters and chemistry
knowledge. He writes chapters about the Wheel of Cerridwen.
Corydalis
A writer, illustrator, tarot reader, astrologer (in both Western and Eastern systems), and occultist, born and raised Buddhist, with deep family ties to Taoist mysticism, as practiced in southern Taiwan. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, corydalis is used to alleviate pain by increasing the body’s tolerance for it. The plant is native to both North America and East Asia.
Rosana
A storyteller, witch and poet, she explores the capacity of stories to draw us more deeply into communion with the wild-existent world. A ritualist with interest in bodywork, ecofeminism and queer magic, she teaches about the forgotten complexity of wonder tales (www.fabularosa.co.uk).
Datura
Datura works with plants by creating magical compositions both in her practice and profession. She studied aromatherapy and focuses on Renaissance occultism in a modern form, herbalism, and the poison path in her spiritual/magical practice. She also devoted herself to Norse magick, Eastern spirituality, and is initiated to the second degree of reiki.
Protea
This published poet thrives along quirky edges, roving with the rippling rhythms of shadows and light that we call life. She is a high priestess, yoga teacher, cacaoista & women’s circle keeper. Her memoir features in the book Phoenix Rising and her poetry chapbook Aphrodite Fever Dream is being published soon. She lives in London and dreams of owning a mermaid tail one day.
